CBG is considered the bridge molecule between THC and CBD and has been shown to reduce inflammation, pain, anxiety and depression and to better manage sleep difficulties and symptoms of cancer. It’s called the “Mother of all Cannabinoids” because its acidic precursor – CBGA – is also the precursor of THC, CBD and many other cannabinoids. As the plant matures, most of the CBGA converts into other molecules and leaves small amounts of CBG left in the plant.
